The Adoption Authority, Inc. is licensed in the State of Georgia as a non-profit child placing agency. Licensed to provide home study services for all of Georgia, we are located in Folkston. Our staff is made up of professional, caring individuals who have experience in advocating, assisting and supporting children and families. Our focus is to assist you in properly completing the necessary paperwork, alleviating unnecessary anxiety and creating a more pleasant, smooth experience. Because our services are limited, we are able to focus on all of the different regulations governing this portion of the adoption process. Let us help you navigate through this maze, bringing you one step closer to your new family. The Adoption Authority services include:  International home studies Domestic home studies Home study updates Post Placement visits Counseling and referrals, when necessary We recognize that there are many different kinds of wonderful families who can offer a child a loving and stable home. We can be your advocate in the adoption process, easing the transition from paperwork to parenthood. The Adoption Authority was created to serve a resource for families in the South and Southeast parts of Georgia that are choosing to expand their families. The Adoption Authority is based out of Folkston, Georgia, to provide quality services to rural areas. We are available for families anywhere in the state of Georgia.
